An anthology of Appalachian themed zombie horror I co-edited is now available. This fine tome of literature is titled Appalachian Undead. It is available via the usual selection of vendors ($4.99 digital & $14.95 print). Look at the pretty cover!
The Book Depository
The anthology contains an essay by Fangoria editor Rebekah McKendry, an introduction by S.G. Browne, and original fiction by genre luminaries John Skipp, Jonathan Maberry, Ronald Kelly, Elizabeth Massie, Gary Braunbeck, Bev Vincent, Lucy Synder, and more.
An accompanying chapbook was released titled Mountain Dead containing four additional stories. It is free to download from B&N, Kobo, and Smashwords and is 99 cents for the Kindle. A print version is available for $4.99 from Amazon. It has about 20k words (64 pages) of stories by Geoffrey Girard, Sara M. Harvey, K. Allen Wood, and Lesley Conner.

The book has been out a couple of weeks, but I’ve been trying to wait until Amazon has Mountain Dead price matched at free. I’ve grown tired of waiting.
Apex has been running “Zombie Bites” with each of the authors (humorous mini-interviews) along with snippets of their stories. Enjoy!
